General Description
Defense Supply Center Richmond is the aviation supply and demand chain manager for the Defense Logistics Agency and serves within the Defense Department as the primary source of supply for more than 1.2 million repair parts and operating supply items. DSCR's mission is to provide best value aviation weapon systems and environmental logistics support to America's armed forces—on land, at sea and in the air. |

Environmental and Community Priorities
In November 2005, DSCR's EMS obtained ISO 14001 certification, and has maintained that certification from that time onward. In February 2006, this EMS was accepted into EPA's Performance Track Program, as well as being recognized by Virginia's Department of Environmental Quality for Extraordinary Environmental Enterprise (E4). |
