General Description
From the startup of Rayon in 1929 to the commercial production of Tyvek® on Line-7 in 2000, the Spruance Site has had a long successful history in manufacturing products which have made lives better for millions of people worldwide. Spruance is currently in its seventy-eighth year of operations. Today, it is DuPont's largest site.
However, Spruance is much more than facilities, equipment and products. The success is due to the thousands of hard-working, committed and talented women and men who have, over the past seventy-eight years, built this site into the strong beneficial group of businesses it is today. |
