General Description
The mission of the 99th is to exercise peacetime command and control of all assigned units. The 99th also provides full-service support to all Army Reserve units in the assigned area of responsibility. Another aspect of the 99th mission is to support Army Reserve unit mobilization during periods of crisis and war as well as to reconstitute units following demobilization.
