What's a Workgroup?
V-REMS Workgroups are small sub-groups of the V-REMS partnership that focus on specific issues and collaborative opportunities. A typical workgroup is composed of anywhere from three to twenty V-REMS partner organizations. The purpose of a workgroup can range from serving as a forum for sharing information about a specific topic to organizing partners around a collaborative opportunity. For instance, one V-REMS workgroup focuses on sharing partners' various energy efficiency initiatives so that partners can learn from and replicate each other's efforts. Another V-REMS workgroup brings partners together to collaborate on increasing the number of E-85 fueling stations in the Richmond area. V-REMS workgroups are formed when partners identify a need for convening a sub-group to focus on a specific initiative. Accordingly, V-REMS workgroups convene telephonically and in-person on an as-needed basis.
